Glossary Lead Time

Lead Time refers to the necessary time required for the procurement or pre-production preparation of a product. Generally, it refers to the overall time required from the time a product is ordered to the time the ordered product is fully delivered. ※ Types of Lead Time: ① Manufacturing Lead Time (MLT): The time required to produce a product, excluding the time required in the purchasing process. ② Cumulative Lead Time (CLT): The time required to perform the purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly processes, and is the absolute time required to produce and sell the product to customers. ③ Delivery Lead Time (DLT): The time required from when an order is received until the goods are delivered, which is the expected delivery time for the customer.
