Glossary LTL (Less Than Truckload)

LTL(Less Than Truckload) is a logistics transportation method used when the cargo does not fill the entire truck. LTL companies typically gather small amounts of freight from multiple customers and consolidate them onto one truck for transportation. LTL is distinguished from FTL and is suitable for transporting smaller quantities of goods. LTL transportation costs are lower than FTL because dedicated trucks are not used.
