Glossary Mini Landbridge (MLB)

The Mini Landbridge (MLB) is a route that involves transporting cargo from the Far East by sea to the U.S. West Coast, and then inland to the Atlantic or Gulf regions through rail or rail-road transportation at the U.S. West Coast ports. This route can reduce transportation time compared to the all-water service via the Panama Canal.
