Glossary FEU (Forty-foot Equivalant Unit)

FEU, or Forty-foot Equivalent Unit, is a unit of measurement used in the logistics industry to describe the capacity of a shipping container. It is equivalent to the space occupied by a 40-foot-long container, which is twice the size of a TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit). FEU is commonly used to compare the cargo capacity of different container ships, and most large container ships are designed to carry a certain number of FEUs.
