Glossary Carbon Offsets

Carbon Offsets refer to the process of offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions caused by a particular activity by paying for the corresponding level of cost or engaging in reduction activities. This can be achieved by investing directly in reduction projects or by purchasing carbon credits issued by reduction projects.
