[Canada]Jul.16 Vancouver International Airport (YVR) operations halted due to hijacked plane
On July 16, operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) were briefly suspended due to a report of a hijacked Cessna 172. [USA]Jul.16 Severe summer storms cause disruption at O’Hare (ORD) and JFK airports
On July 16, over 7,800 flights were delayed and more than 1,457 canceled across the U.S. due to summer storms. Airports including Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and JFK were heavily impacted. The FAA issued slot waivers, but the situation revealed structural weaknesses in the U.S. aviation system. ORD and JFK are departure/arrival ports for our cargo.

[Greece]Jul.14 Protest blocks unloading of Israeli-linked cargo at Piraeus Port
On July 14, anti-Israel protesters and port workers in Piraeus blocked the unloading of the Ever Golden, reportedly carrying military-use steel bound for Israel. The cargo was then set to be transferred to COSCO Shipping Pisces, but unions pledged to block that vessel as well. Both ships are currently anchored near Piraeus.
