Samsung SDS participated in the global logistics innovation conference “Manifest 2026,” held in Las Vegas, USA from February 9 to 11, where it highlighted its digital logistics business capabilities.

The “Manifest conference” gathers leading companies and technology pioneers from the global supply chain and logistics sectors to discuss future technologies and industry trends. This year, more than 7,200 participants, including shippers, logistics solution·service providers, startups, and investors, attended.

During the event, Samsung SDS conducted business meetings and networking with global shippers and partners through session presentations and an exhibition booth.

At the exhibition booth, centering around its digital logistics service platform “Cello Square”, the platform for end-to-end process from quote, booking to settlement, Samsung SDS introduced IT-based logistics services covering from ocean·air transportation, inland transportation to local logistics, including warehousing.

In its session presentation, Samsung SDS outlined the challenges enterprises face amid the rapidly changing global supply chain environment, showcase its core competencies, and described risk management for international ocean transport as well as a data‑driven global transport control tower. Notably, together with Kyocera, Samsung SDS demonstrated innovative warehouse and local‑transport cases in Europe, drawing strong interest from participants.

Samsung SDS explained that many shippers and freight forwarders are experiencing a lack of visibility and transparency in transportation due to geopolitical risks, climate change, maritime‑infrastructure and routing limitations.

To tackle these issues, Samsung SDS stated that Cello Square provides real‑time monitoring of the entire logistics process, AI‑ and machine learning-based risk factor predictions, and accurate estimated time of arrival, etc.

The company also emphasized that, to expand its presence in the European market, it delivers IT‑based logistics services that integrate the entire chain from factory, transportation, customs, warehousing to distribution, thereby achieving digital transformation.

Martijn Cillessen, Logistics Executive at Kyocera, who co‑presented at the conference, said, “By applying Samsung SDS’s IT‑based logistics services, we have enhanced data transparency and automated decision‑making processes, significantly improving logistics efficiency.” He added, “We will continue to drive business innovation through our partnership with Samsung SDS.”

Kooil O, head of the logistics division (Vice President) of Samsung SDS said, “Manifest 2026 was an opportunity to showcase Samsung SDS’s digital logistics service capabilities to the global market and strengthen our network with logistics and supply chain technology leaders.” He highlighted, “We will keep advancing AI and cloud‑based technologies to further expand our global business.”
