[Turkiye]8.22 Turkiye, Refusal of entry of ships linked to Israel (ZIM)
ZIM, Israel’s global container shipping company, confirmed in a public announcement on the stock exchange on August 25 that Turkiye began to refuse to enter ships linked to Israel. In accordance with the new regulations, ships owned, managed, or operated by Israel-related organizations cannot be anchored in the port of Turkiye, and this change will take effect on August 22. Also, due to the new regulations, Turkiye's ships are also prohibited from calling at Israeli ports.

On August 21, a fire broke out at the Port of Hamburg, disrupting operations. The fire was first reported at approximately 1:10 PM local time, the cause is currently unknown. The affected area of the port is currently closed, leading to disruptions in shipping and logistics. [Greece]8.19 Greece, Athens International Airport plagued by technical glitches
Late at night on August 19, Athens International Airport(AIA) experienced a severe technical glitch affecting its air traffic control system. The radar lost the Merenta, a key radar control point overseeing the approach and departure area of AIA) spot and backup frequency transceivers failed, affecting communication with aircraft. Delays began on August 20, reducing the airport's handling capacity and affecting many flights. On August 22, the issues had been fixed, but delays and disruptions were still felt.

[Italy]8.20 Italy, Milan Malpensa Airport shutdown due to fire set by passenger
On August 20, a section of Milan Malpensa Airport(MXP), the main international airport of Milan and the second largest in Italy, was closed due to a fire allegedly started by a passenger at Terminal 1. The incident caused a shutdown at the major European airport, affecting operations.

[Vietnam·Thailand]8.25 Typhoon Kajiki landfall in Vietnam and Thailand
On August 25, Typhoon Kajiki made landfall in north-central Vietnam (Thanh Hoa–Ha Tinh). Airports at Dong Hoi (VDH) and Tho Xuan (THD) were closed, with multiple flights and rail services (Hanoi–Vinh, Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh) suspended. The storm has weakened while moving through Laos and is forecast to enter northern Thailand near Nan on the evening of August 26.
